Having a small pendant (about 1/2" wide) with the exact same motif, I have to say that I did not pay attention to the size indicated (which doesn't speak for itself to me unless I take a ruler to measure, since I live in France and am used to centimeters not inches) and was most surprised when I saw them twice as big as I imagined!

I find the bar (stem? straight thingy? lol sorry I don't know the right word for the part that goes through the ear-hole) a little long so the earrings are a little loose but other than that I can honestly say they look beautiful and that despite my suprise I don't regret buying them for a minute!
