The Amethyst Heart Pentacle Locket is made of sterling silver. It measures just over 1 1/4" tall, including the bail. The interior of the locket is approximately 3/4" in diameter. The pendant comes with an 18" sterling chain.

How securely will this stay closed?
In all the years we have offered this locket, I have never, ever seen one fall open just by chance. That being said, if you are planning on using this pendant to hold something precious, like ashes, or a lock of hair, it is probably best to seal it shut with a dab of glue. You might also want to replace the chain with one that is more substantial, just in case.

This is a process that can take hundreds of hours, as he works to draw forth his vision from the block of wood. Once that is complete, he works with skilled jewelers who are able to translate his work into sterling silver.
