Ok... maybe not miles, but close enough—it sure feels that way when we’ve just taken delivery of 100 yards of black twill. We ordered it a while back, and I’m thrilled it’s finally here. Black is always the hardest fabric for us to find at a good price, and it also happens to be the color most of you ask for.
And that’s not all! Yesterday we made a quick road trip to one of our favorite fabric stores and came back with a treasure trove of gorgeous colors and patterns. Some of these fabrics are destined to become truly one-of-a-kind cloaks and capes. The cats, of course, are eager to supervise every step of the process.
You’ll see the black twill cloaks appear on the website first. The other, more colorful cloaks may never make it online—photographing and writing descriptions takes so much time that we often save those for in-person sales. But don’t worry: we’ll have a calendar up soon with our upcoming events so you’ll know exactly where to find us.
And now… it’s sewing time! Send tea and back rubs—I’m going to need them. 😊
