Merry Mabon!

As the Wheel of the Year turns, may your harvest be rich and your blessings plentiful.
I’ll admit—Mabon kind of snuck up on me this year. Here in Georgia, it still feels like summer, hot and heavy in the air. No fresh-baked bread, no carefully arranged seasonal altar, no flickering candles—just me, alone with my thoughts.
Balance is something I struggle with. I often say, if something is worth doing, it’s worth overdoing. Not really, of course—I know that’s not healthy. But despite my best intentions, it doesn’t take much to tip me past the point of balance.
As a small business owner, finding a work/life balance is a daily challenge. There is no off switch, no moment when the to-do list is truly done.
So this Mabon, my celebration was quiet self-talk: a reminder about priorities, about balance, about remembering what truly matters. Sometimes the best rituals are the simplest ones.
