Green Mini Chime Ritual Spell Candles

Green candles are a given any time your ritual involves nature and the environment. Even something as simple as a spell to make your garden grow better will benefit from green candles.

In fact, any time you want to bring about growth (not only in plants), green candles are a good choice. You may be working for financial gain, better personal skills, increased creativity, greater fertility, or simply a feeling of abundance in your life, and green candles can give you a push in the right direction.

Good fortune, opportunity, and success in all manner of things can be called forth by burning green candles.

One of my favorite things to do with green candles is to burn them when I need a burst of energy. When I have problems that feel stale or stagnant, this can help to clear the way forward.

Burn green candles at Litha (the Summer Solstice), to celebrate the growth and abundance of the season. But also burn them at Yule (the Winter Solstice), as a reminder that even in the depths of winter, there is life.

How should I charge my candles?
When you are ready to use your candle, before you light it, take a moment to simply hold it in your hands and focus on your objective. In addition to the general intention, think about your situation in particular, and the change that you would like to create. Some people choose to anoint their candles with oil at this time, or carve symbols into the wax. That's entirely up to you.

Why should I trim my candle wick?
The length of a candle's wick determines how much fuel (the melted wax) is feeding the flame. If the wick is left too long, the candle burns more quickly than it should. It also produces more soot as it burns, which can leave a residue on the walls and ceiling. If the wick is too short, the candle will not stay lit. The ideal length is between 1/8-1/4".
