The Butterfly Leather Journal is secured by a thong wrapped around a pewter button, which repeats the butterfly motif.

Are the pages lined or unlined?
The blank book insert that comes with this journal has unlined pages. However, the journal also has a lined "cheat sheet" that you can place behind the page you are working on, which will help you keep your writing straight and even. Pretty clever, huh?

The Butterfly Leather Journal comes in two sizes, and is refillable. The large size measures 6" by 9", and takes a 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" refill. The smaller size is 5" x 6 7/8", and requires a 4 1/4" by 6 1/4" refill. The refills are standard sized blank books that you can find locally at most art supply stores.
