Now here's something that every dragon-lover's kitchen needs! Wouldn't you agree? This clever cross stitch pattern depicts an uneasy truce between a dragon and knight. If they keep this up, nobody will be doing any snacking!
This dragon cross stitch pattern measures only 60 stitches wide by 90 stitches high. The chart is graphed in black and white symbols. A table showing the DMC colors you'll need is included. It is printed on a single sheet of card stock. This fantasy cross stitch design was created by Jennifer L. Aikman-Smith, of Dragon Dreams.

How much fabric do I need?
To calculate the amount of fabric you will need for your project, divide the number of stitches by the stitch count of the fabric you wish to use. The higher the count of your fabric, the smaller your piece will be. Some examples appear below. Remember to leave several additional inches as a border on each side, to facilitate framing your project when it is finished.
| Fabric count | Approximate size of stitched area |
|---|---|
| 14-count | 4 ¼" × 6 ½" |
| 18-count | 3 ¼" × 5" |
| 25-count | 2 ½" × 3 ½" |
