Has a gargoyle ever been this appealing? With a bright and watchful eye, Sherwood is always on the alert, guarding your valuables from harm. This diminutive little fellow is only 3" tall, but he's ready to take on the world. With beautifully detailed fur and feathers, he looks ready to spring to life at any moment. Made of interior grade plaster. Made of interior grade plaster, for indoor use only.

The Sherwood Gargoyle Statue was created by Jay Hungate. When designing a new sculpture, Jay begins by working with plasticine clay to create the original. When he is happy with his progress, Jay makes a single-use mold and casts the piece in hard plaster. Once that is done, he uses the piaster model to carve additional details, refining and enhancing with every step. Next, he takes the new plaster model, and uses it to make a durable rubber mold, with which to cast finely detailed reproductions of the original. And finally, each piece is hand-finished and painted for the crucial finishing touches.

The Sherwood Gargoyle Statue stands 3" tall.

It is made of an exclusive hydrocal blend, with an antique stone finish.

This statue is meant for indoor use only.

Sherwood is the perfect item for young or old. Kids love him, especially if the following message is included with him: "This little companion has awakened from a deep and restful sleep, and is eager to keep a watchful eye out for you. Whisper his name and he will never want to leave your side. This item was purchased for the 5th birthday of my niece's five year-old grandson, and he loves Sherwood. Previously, I purchased the same item from a different seller for a 4 year-old neighbor's son, who whispers to his Sherwood every night. To top it all, I'm 77 and have a Sherwood of my own for a constant companion. The message incorporated here, was included in my first purchase of a Sherwood.
