Silver Amethyst Heart Pentacle Locket

Every time you look at this locket, there seems to be one more detail waiting to be found.

The amethyst catches your eye first, glowing at the center of a five-pointed star.

Then come the sweeping crescent moons, the Celtic knotwork, and the heart worked into the lower half of the design.

Turn it over, and designer Paul Borda has given the reverse just as much attention. Interlacing knots and spirals cover the back, creating an entirely different design to explore.

There is a special pleasure in wearing this decidedly pagan pendant. You can admire it simply because it is beautiful, or linger over the symbols that mean something more to you.

And then it opens.

Inside is a small space for a photograph or another tiny treasure — something you want to keep close.

The Silver Amethyst Heart Pentacle Locket comes ready to wear on an 18" curb chain and is set with a genuine amethyst gemstone. The locket and chain are both made of nickel-free .925 sterling silver. The locket measures approximately 1 1/4" tall, including the bail; the interior measures approximately 3/4" in diameter.
