What is the meaning of moonstone?
Do you enjoy the study of gemstone lore? Above all else, moonstone is associated with lunar magic and feminine energies. In some cultures, it was thought to be formed from actual moonbeams striking the earth. Moonstone has a connection to all goddesses, but as might be expected, the bond is particularly strong with moon goddesses.
Moonstone is said to enhance intuition and clarify the emotions. It has a soothing, healing energy that many find to be very calming. Throughout the ages, it has been known as a stone for lovers, promoting harmony and passion.
Moonstone and pearl are both used as the birthstones for the month of June. Nice work, June-babies! You hit the jackpot!
