The blank book insert that comes with this journal has unlined pages. However, the journal also has a lined "cheat sheet" that you can place behind the page you are working on, which will help you keep your writing straight and even. Pretty clever, huh?

The leather is tanned and dyed here, the covers are made here, even the pewter buttons are cast here in the United States.

The Cloud Dragon Leather Journal comes in two sizes, and is refillable. The large size measures 6" by 9", and takes a 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" refill. The smaller size is 5" x 6 7/8", and requires a 4 1/4" by 6 1/4" refill. The refills are standard sized blank books that you can find locally at most art supply stores.
